Snow Policy

Winter may be beautiful, but it sometimes can present travel issues for ticket holders. In the great tradition of the theater, the show does go on despite snow or sleet or unsanded streets. The Company, unfortunately, does not control the elements and is committed to honoring its performance calendar.
- All ticket sales, including George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker ™ are final. There are no refunds or exchanges.
- If patrons cannot attend a performance, for whatever reason, they may donate tickets back to the Company and receive a tax deduction receipt for the full amount.
Tickets may be donated back to the Company by calling 212-870-5667 starting two hours before curtain time:
During George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker ™
Between 11:30 am-12:30 pm for 1 pm performances
Between noon-1:30 pm for 2 pm performances
Between 3 pm-4:30 pm for 5 pm performances
Between 4 pm-5:30 pm for 6 pm performances
Between 6 pm-7:30 pm for 8 pm performances
During Repertory:
Between 5:30 pm-7 pm, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings
Between 6 pm-7:30 pm for Thursday through Saturday evenings
Between noon-1:30 pm for Saturday matinees
Between 1 pm-2:30 pm for Sunday matinees

- It is not the policy of NYCB or the David H. Koch Theater to cancel performances due to weather conditions.
- In the case of severe weather conditions, patrons who feel it would be impossible for them to attend should contact the Box Office on the day of their performance to receive instructions as to how to proceed.
